Fusion U11 Boys Gold Team Wins at home!
A nice spring Sunday afternoon with Fusion Gold playing at home against Bay Oaks started with both teams ready to go. Right from the start Fusion pressed hard and were rewarded with a good early goal from Connor Day, then with Coach Isaac continuing to guide the team Fusion continued with a number of promising attacks, several tough breaks with shots hitting the cross bar or just narrowly missing the net. The Bay Oaks team pushed forward with a few attacks of their own, but with a great effort from Tallon Chambers and the Fusion defense playing strong, the attacks didn't lead to any serious threats and half time ended with a 1 - 0 score. The second half continued to be competitive but clean from both teams and evenly balanced until the Fusion team started to impose themselves by creating a number of strong chances. Great goal by Dylan Gillespie and a rocket from Connor Day sailed past the Goalie for our 3rd and final goal of the game. The team played some very good football finishing the game with a solid 3-0 win for Fusion
