Girls Cruise, Boys Battle For a Win

The Raiders were on fire again for their third straight win, beating Peters Township 124 to 59 for the girls and 97 to 88 for the boys. The boys 200 Medley Relay took first place and broke both the pool and school records with a time of 1:37.54! Relay participants included Owen Blazer, Christian Sawyer, Connor Quiggle and Jake Lee.

The girls 200 Medley Relay team, consisting of Taylor Schoeffel, Edie Sawyer, Bella Stefanowicz, and Alyvia Meanor also took first place. Taylor Schoeffel and Sarah Stevens took second and third place in the 200 yard freestyle; while Kendall Craig and Carly Brunello took first and second in the 200 IM, respectively. Alyvia Meanor continued the streak, winning the 50 freestyle. Taylor Schoeffel also took first in the 100 backstroke; while Julia Listwak took second place in the 100 Butterfly. Kendall Craig (100 Freestyle), Bella Stefanowicz (500 freestyle), and Edie Sawyer (100 Breaststroke) all placed first in their events, closing out the win.

For the boys, Connor Quiggle won the 200 freestyle and the 100 Butterfly; while Owen Blazer won the 200 IM. Jake Lee also finished strong winning both the 50 and the 100 yard freestyle. The meet was close on the boys side and needed another win. Christian Sawyer stepped in and won the 100 Breaststroke pushing the boys ahead of the Indians. Owen Blazer and Jonathan Simoes sealed the deal with taking first and second in the 100 backstroke.

Both the girls and boys 200 Freestyle Relays took first place. The girls included Kendall Craig, Alyvia Meanor, Katelyn Caccamo, and Kiara Sherk; and the boys included Christian Sawyer, Max Skeen, Jake Lee and Max Bredl. The 400 Freestyle Relays were equally victorious taking first for the girls were Kendall Craig, Bella Stafanowicz, Taylor Schoeffel, and Alyvia Meanor. The boys included Connor Quiggle, Max Bredl, Max Skeen and Owen Blazer.

Raider Divers did extremely well with Rylie Smith placing first, Kaitlyn Caccamo 2nd and Meghan Keppler 3rd for the girls. Trevor Elliott contributed to the boys win, placing third.
